Resources on cognitive load
A friend asked me if I had any reading resources on cognitive load. Here are some:
Entry points:
- On Ness Labs.
- on Less Wrong (when you see something like “(Bednar et al. 2012) show that when playing two games simultaneously”, the name and year in the brackets is a citation reference. You can try to search on Google scholar with that name and year and a few keywords from the paragraph that talks about a specific topic).
- Book recommendation (which I haven’t read yet :) )
- Actual science When choosing which article to read, pay attention to “Cited by N”. More citations == more endorsements == higher quality)
